This team provides specialist therapeutic support for Aboriginal children in care across our programs.

What we offer

• Education, training and professional development to carers, care teams and professional staff through our sector training, we build knowledge and understanding of how to respond appropriately to children’s experience of trauma, and their associated developmental, attachment and behavioural needs
• Trauma-informed assessments and therapeutically-informed intervention plans for the children in VACCA’s care
• Consultation upon request to other agencies.
