Celebrating Carers Week 13 - 19 Sept 2020

‘Foster Care Week’ is from the 13^th-19^th September.  This year’s theme is ‘The Value of Carers’.  This week raises awareness about Foster Care in the wider community and the events held during this week aim to celebrate and appreciate Carers and the invaluable contribution they are making to the lives of vulnerable children, young people and the community as a whole.
 
Here at VACCA, we take this opportunity to recognise and thank ALL of our amazing carers across our Out of Home Care programs including those involved with Foster Care, Kinship\Kith Care, TCPs and First Supports.
 
As a carer, you often put your own life on pause while you manage the daily activities of those in your care. This does not go unnoticed. We see you all around our communities, in homes, schools and extra curricular activities. What you do matters, and the care you provide is not definable through mere words.
 
Please know that you are truly appreciated. You are respected. You are valued.
