No child should wake up on Christmas Day without a gift to unwrap, or food on the table.
To help create special memories we need your help to provide Christmas gifts and extra support to children, families and community members in need at this often difficult time of year. COVID has put a lot of pressure on individuals in our community, and it’s also meant our resources are stretched.
Last year, our donors helped to provide gifts to more than 2,500 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people in care and in our programs. This year, the need is even greater and we need your help to assist 3,000 children and families this Christmas.
Make a donation
You can make a donation so Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in our programs receive a gift, and families and Elders are supported with food, household essentials and groceries.
Every donation helps - $25 can help fund a Christmas present for a child in Care or in our programs. Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible - a receipt will be automatically emailed to you.

You can register your workplace, school, group or place of worship to raise funds for VACCA’s Christmas Appeal. You'll receive an online fundraising host pack with resources and activities to share with your group to help you raise funds and stay close to culture over the holiday season.

How you can help
After everything they’ve been through this year, our most vulnerable kids desperately need a little joy and something to look forward to. Please donate or register your group, school or workplace to fundraise to make sure they have a gift to unwrap on Christmas morning, and know they are very loved. You don’t have to give a lot to make an enormous difference.
