VACCA – the Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency – is the peak voice for Aboriginal children in Victoria. Founded in 1977, VACCA provides over 80 programs and services across the state to support culturally strong, safe and thriving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, families and communities.
Run for Culture
By joining Team VACCA you are supporting vulnerable Aboriginal children in care to connect to culture and grow up strong and proud. Your fundraising efforts will help us continue to support children to participate in cultural programs like our Cultural Camps – where young people learn their local customs, lore’s, country and meet their Elders You will also be funding essential cultural events such as NAIDOC and Christmas which are integral for children in out-of-home care to connect to their family, wider community, and practice culture together.
